total knee replacement
We have more than 5 years experience in total knee replacement.
There have been enormous improvements in knee surgery, especially in recent years. The most important is the development of so called surface-replacement in knees. Only a thin layer of the worn cartilage and bone is removed from the joint surface, allowing the artificial prosthesis to form a new joint.
This type of operation requires maximum precision. This is guaranteed by the experience of the surgeons’ precise cutting guides and instruments.

A full replacement includes a correction of the knee axis. A knee replacement usually requires a 2 week hospital stay. Additional rehabilitation of up to 4 weeks can be organised by the practice. The use of crutches for up to 6 weeks after the operation is also recommended. This will be discussed in detail with your doctor.
Your first contact with the doctor will be arranged in UK.
